The Animal Hospital of Hinesburg has implemented a few practices to minimize the risk of COVID-19 exposure to our clients and our staff. We anticipate these measures to be in place for the foreseeable future.
Because of the size of our exam rooms and the nature of our work, safely maintaining social distancing as per the state guidelines has proven difficult. It is for this reason that we are continuing our curbside service. While this method is not ideal, we feel that this is the safest way to provide the service you have come to expect. When you arrive for your scheduled appointment you will be asked to call or text the clinic from your car. One of our team members will either take an initial history or review an online-submitted history of your pet over the phone, then meet you outside to bring your pet in for his/her exam. Once a complete exam is performed, a doctor will call you to discuss the findings of the exam. Payments can be made over the phone (we will not be taking credit cards from people to run inside the building) or by cash or check. Lastly, a team member will return your pet to you outside.
Medications and products may still be purchased over the phone, then either brought out to you by a staff member when you arrive, or we can place them in a container outside our doors.
We continue to work hard adjusting our protocols so we can continue to safely provide high-quality service to you and care to your furry family members.
